ABOUT IMMERSIONS:

The Immersion process is a wonderful way for the yogi to embrace the path. Steep yourself in the Divine! This process will deepen your appreciation for Yoga and expand your perception of yourself and the world around you. Marc St. Pierre is a Certified Anusara and E-RYT 500 Yoga Instructor. He is internationally known, having taught in Asia, Europe, Australia, and in the United States. Marc loves to guide the student to the center of their being – the heart.

Informative, powerful, transformative, and FUN, the Immersion process is an incredible opportunity to enrich your yoga practice and life. The Immersion is also a prerequisite to becoming an Anusara Teacher, though you need not be on a teacher track to appreciate this enriching experience.

IMMERSION 1 – Kriya – The BODY

This is the first installment in this Divine Trilogy! As yoga students, you will learn the Universal Principles of Alignment in great detail, employing the Level 1 Syllabus to cultivate your Asana. It is not necessary to be able to perform every pose. By reconnecting to your body, you begin to better connect to your whole being, coming back to your self. We are a manifestation of Divine Consciousness. We study Yoga to know that and to experience the freedom acquired by awakening to this truth. You will be introduced to Siva/Sakti Tantric philosophy, anatomy, meditation, yoga sutras, and the 8 limbs of yoga. Mostly, you will be excited to see more clearly what it means to be a student of yoga embracing this path.

IMMERSION 2 – Jnana – The MIND

In the second installment, we will focus on the essential elements of existence – from the earth to the deep and far pulsations of absolute Divine Consciousness. You will explore Level 2 Syllabus poses, pranayama, a deeper look at anatomy, Prana and the pranic systems, and the practice of embodying the qualities of the Divine. This is an incredible way to expand your mind and support your experience of interconnectedness.

IMMERSION 3 – Iccha – The HEART

The heart – the center of service to humankind. By this installment, you will have a strong working knowledge of Anusara’s Universal Principles of Alignment, Siva/Sakti Tantric philosophy, meditation, pranayama, and the Yoga Tradition. The Level 3 Syllabus is very expansive. We will look at how to approach this and understand the key actions of moving towards advanced asana. The Bhagavad Gita, the beloved scripture of India, will be interwoven into this Immersion in order for you to receive the full spectrum of Divine Love and the path as a Yogi. This is radiance!

*The 100-hr Immersions (Parts 1-3) are applicable towards the Anusara 200-hr Teacher Training and the Yoga Alliance 200-hr Teacher Training.
